Alternatively, a user can initiate a Leave Request by navigating to Leave > + Leave Request
New Leave Request Form
The New Leave Request Form allows an Employee to submit a request to take various types of Multi-Day or Single-Day leave.
Once the Leave Type is selected, and From and To Dates entered, the Available Hours and Required Hours will be automatically calculated.
On the right-hand side of the screen a monthly breakdown of Public Holidays and Upcoming Leave is listed
Public Holidays and Upcoming Leave Dates (previously approved) will not be available for selection.
Deficit Hours
If the Required Hours exceeds Available Hours, the system will warn the user via notification.
Depending on Leave Configuration preferences set up in the account, the user may have to reduce the required hours by adjusting dates or changing the leave type (ie. Leave Without Pay) to Submit the Request.
